Hold a coffee morning

Coffee mornings are a great way to help people get to know about Progressio in a relaxed way. And our focus on water in Wedza should help you to hold a coffee morning to remember!

Your coffee morning could have a twist: there’s no coffee, just water! It would get people to consider how much they rely on water, and what happens if people don’t have access to the water they need.

For example, growing and selling coffee is an important source of income for small-scale farmers – but do you know how much water they need to produce the coffee you drink? See our quiz questions for the answer! (Which is: it takes 140 litres of water to grow and process the coffee you need to make a single cup!)

You could cut up the quiz questions to put on tables or walls and spark conversation! On the day, ask people to fill in their details (download our sign-up sheet below) with their donation. You can also use our donation envelopes to collect donations.
